Meal Train

What: Epiphany Parish Meal Train 

• Created by parishioners for parishioners who need relief from meal preparation after coming home with a new baby, recovering from a medical procedure, or encountering unforeseen circumstances. 

Who: If you are a generous, caring individual and would like to help, please email: [email protected] or fill out the form on this page to be placed on the volunteer meal provider list (signing up does not obligate you to bring a meal). 

How: When there is a need, an email will be sent to volunteers with a link to a user-friendly website: mealtrain.com , where they can sign up for dates when meals are needed, see food preferences, and access delivery instructions.

• If you hear of any need, please email the coordinator to set up a meal train. 

Quick Tips! 

1. Consider doubling what you plan to prepare for your family and giving half!
2. Some volunteers purchase a prepared meal or gift card. 
3. Keep it simple and use disposable dishes (Hint: Dollar Tree has these).
4. Label your containers so recipients remember the contents and any instructions.
5. Consider involving your children to teach them about serving others!
6. Kid- friendly foods are always appreciated (applesauce, fruit, vegetables, etc.)
