I would like to apologize for any problems our parishioners and on-line audience had the past two weeks viewing our live streamed Masses. First, we had major problems with Facebook the whole week and were not able to broadcast our Masses. To address this issue, the parish switched to YouTube last week as an interim solution.
There was one issue with switching to YouTube with the new videos not loading on the website with a “video not found” message. Thankfully, after researching that issue, the solution was a simple adjustment to the YouTube broadcast settings. That was fixed Thursday afternoon. So if you were having problems watching the livestream on the website last week, please try it again as that problem was fixed.
What does this mean for you? At this time we are live casting Masses to the webpage but not to Facebook. Alternatively, you can also watch the live streamed Masses on the parish YouTube channel. We will, however, send out Facebook reminders before live streamed Masses for the next two weeks.
We are evaluating our broadcasting options this month and are planning on making a long-term decision in November. If you have any questions or would like to give feedback on your livestream Mass viewing experience, please email me.
My e-mail address on on the parish staff webpage.
