New Parish Virtual Prayer Opportunities

We have continued to pay attention to the COVID-19 infection rates in our county, state of Iowa and the rising number of hospitalizations due to the virus. We recently received notice from Cerro Gordo Public Health asking that the local churches consider transitioning services back to live stream only for a period of time to help minimize the spread of the virus. While we believe that we here at Epiphany Parish have done our best to provide a safe environment for worship, it is necessary for us to stop having Mass open to the public for now. We pray that everyone’s efforts will help to slow down the spread of the virus and assist our hospital and health care workers to be safe and able to meet the needs of all the sick. 

Please join us for our live stream Masses:

Saturday 4:00 PM 

Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 PM

Wednesday and Friday at 9:00 AM

More virtual opportunities at Epiphany Parish during this time:

• Following the Saturday live stream 4 PM Masses there will be an hour of live stream Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. We will pray in particular for the end of COVID-19, all those suffering from the virus, safety for all healthcare workers in our community, and for all frontline workers serving for the good of others.  At the conclusion of the hour, Father Josh will offer benediction.

• On Sundays 10:30-11:15 AM join Sr. Annette for Virtual Coffee and Donuts. The group will reflect on the Sunday gospel reading and participate in a faith sharing process similar to ARISE. The Zoom link for this gathering will be sent out by contacting Sr Annette directly. 

• Each Tuesday before the 6:30 PM Mass there will be a livestream Rosary beginning at 6 PM for the intentions mentioned above.
