The Zambia Project, established in 2005, is an ongoing partnership between Epiphany Parish and St. Lawrence Home of Hope, located outside of Lusaka, Zambia in Africa. Our focus is to offer ongoing prayer and financial support for housing, food, and education for the orphans and displaced youth that live at the St. Lawrence Home of Hope shelter.
Money, raised through parishioner donations, has gone to support the construction of new bath houses, classrooms, dormitories, offices and more. We have also provided for teachers salaries, health care providers, transportation costs and have established college scholarships for four Home of Hope residents.

This parish ministry was founded by Father Harry Koelker, St. Joseph's pastor from 2003 to 2007. From 1986 to 1989 he was as a missionary in Zambia, Africa.
